TUITION ASSISTANCE

The primary reason families do not choose - or sometimes do not even consider - Central Catholic as a high school option for their child is because they believe it is not a financially attainable option. The Vision Campaign has received over $2 million committed to scholarship assistance so far, which includes 5 full-tuition scholarships. This will help us increase access to families in our community who share our values and desire a faith-based education.

TEACHER COMPENSATION

Our teachers make many sacrifices to serve the students of Central Catholic. On average, they make 81-87% of what their local public school counterparts earn. One of our strategic initiatives is to close this gap to ensure we can retain and recruit the highest quality educators who desire to serve our students and be faithful to our mission. Since the planning stages of our campaign, we have increased our teachers' salaries on average by 16%, which is roughly a 5.5% increase per year over the last three years. This is a direct result of the investment the Saints community has made through this campaign.

LEARNING & BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST

One of the program expansions of the Vision Campaign will increase our ability to meet the various needs of our students. Adding the position of a Learning and Behavior Specialist to our team will provide a significant resource necessary to ensure individualized opportunities are available for student success at all levels. We are excited to announce that Jean Volkmuth has accepted an offer to be part of our Saints Family! She has degrees from Franciscan University of Steubenville and St. Mary's University of Minnesota, as well as seven years working as a Special Education teacher.
